Professional switching power supply manufacturer
What is surge current? What should I pay attention to?
The switching power supply will have a short (1/2~1 power supply cycle, such as :50Hz power supply 0.01~1/0.02 second) large current when the input power is powered on.
After the product is turned on, the normal current input is restored, and it will appear every time when the power input is powered on. This is a normal phenomenon and will not cause damage to the switching power supply.
However, it is not recommended to continuously turn on/off the switching power supply. It should also be noted that if multiple switching power supplies are turned on at the same time, it may cause the air switch of the system distribution to trip, it is recommended that multiple switching power supplies should be opened one by one, or use the remote control function of the power product to turn the product on/off.
